Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the fell 0.64%.
The best performers of the session on the were Energix (TASE:), which rose 5.27% or 61.00 points to trade at 1,218.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Strauss Group (TASE:) added 2.07% or 180.00 points to end at 8,859.00 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.08% or 270.00 points to 25,300.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Israel Corp (TASE:), which fell 3.96% or 6,240.00 points to trade at 151,260.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.07% or 98.00 points to end at 3,097.00 and Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.28% or 310.00 points to 13,310.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 276 to 201 and 39 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.82% or 1.97 to $110.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.75% or 1.95 to hit $113.58 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 5.00 to trade at $1,806.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.60% to 3.50, while EUR/ILS fell 0.64% to 3.65.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 104.98.
