Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the added 1.79% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the were Almunajem Foods Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 10.00% or 5.80 points to trade at 63.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Masane Al Kobra Mining Company CJSC (TADAWUL:) added 9.93% or 7.50 points to end at 83.00 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:) was up 9.92% or 17.20 points to 190.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 9.96% or 2.42 points to trade at 21.88 at the close. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:) declined 9.90% or 1.58 points to end at 14.38 and Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (TADAWUL:) was down 9.88% or 1.50 points to 13.68.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 192 to 36 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in United Cooperative Assurance Co (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.96% or 2.42 to 21.88. Shares in Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.90% or 1.58 to 14.38. Shares in Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 9.88% or 1.50 to 13.68.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.16% or 1.15 to $98.27 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.98% or 1.04 to hit $105.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.40 to trade at $1,710.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 1.14% to 3.85, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.82% at 106.36.
